Greg Watkins                                          
Principal

Upon Joining Nexon Corporation, Greg brought with him 25 years of invaluable asbestos, lead, demolition and management experience. In the beginning while working as a project superintendant for Epoxy Systems, Inc. in Honolulu Hawaii, Greg became absorbed in asbestos and lead abatement.  He accelerated his career in the industry when, upon his return to his home town of San Diego, he continued working in the Asbestos / lead abatement industry while continuing his education in the field of hazardous materials remediation and demolition.

In 1990 Greg moved on to expand his entrepreneurial aspirations by becoming one of the co-founders of Watkins Contracting Inc.  As a principal, Greg brought his unlimited amount of knowledge & expertise to the company.  In the beginning Greg’s primary duties at Watkins Contracting included overseeing and managing the day to day operations with a emphasis on production, cost control and client satisfaction.  When he and his partner sold the company in 2003 they had grown it into being one of the largest hazardous remediation & demolition companies in the Western United States.

Greg spent the next 5 years continuing his career in the industry with various real estate and development projects before joining Nexon Corporation.

Some of Greg’s credentials include:  California State Contractor license B-General Building Contractor, A- General Engineering Contractor, C-21 Demolition Contractor, Specialty Asbestos Certification, Specialty Hazardous Substance Removal & Remediation, UCSD trained in Lead Abatement for Supervisors & Contractors, Contractor Supervisor Certification for Asbestos Removal from Georgia Tech.
As Nexon ventures through the 21st century, Greg’s role will play an integral part of the company’s success
